Bingren Literacy: Global Channel of Chinese Characters Report to UNESCO
Literacy Abstract: Whether descendants of ancient Chinese people become literate and how many words they know are closely combined with achievement of Chinese people’s education, their scientific and educational level, quality of nation, and rise and decline of the country. In present China, there are nearly 100,000,000 illiterate people. There are a large number of Chinese children who are either illiterate, or know limited number of words, which forms a new layer of illiterates, so that the number of illiterate people is not decreasing. For these reasons, Mr. Tang Bingren of the Beijing Bingren Culture Development Co., Ltd has developed a series of Chinese language studying methods through several decades.

For these reasons, Mr. Tang Bingren of the Beijing Bingren Culture Development Co., Ltd has developed a series of Chinese language studying methods through several decades. These methods include:
1. Method of Bingren Literacy: People who use this method for one year can master at least 2,000 common words. If the achievement is put into execution, China will meet the standard of “getting rid of illiteracy” (i.e. reaching 1500 words) rapidly and completely. If it is comprehensively executed at the beginning of primary education, China will get rid of new illiterate people basically.
2. Global Channel of Chinese Characters: This method is suitable for the situation of global hot Chinese study, and meets the urgent need of non native-speakers to study Chinese. Applying special sound form of the Chinese phonetic alphabet (the Bingren Chinese Phonetic Alphabet), it can make non native-speakers speak common Chinese and get to know common Chinese characters in one year. Therefore, it solves the problems of non native-speakers, for whom it is difficult to speak and write Chinese characters as well as gives them a shortcut to Chinese language.
