Municipal digital science and technology zone initiated, construction planning office says

The construction of Municipal digital science and technology zone initiated. The municipal government decides to found a construction planning office; The zone will cover an area of 60 square kilometers; 10.5 sq. km is to be completed in the first period.

In order to accelerate the pace in the construction of municipal digital science & technology zone, the municipal government decided recently to found a construction planning office in charge of the preparatory work of the project, which marked the formal initiation of the project.

It is said that the building site of the zone is located at the two sides of Hui’ao Road starting from Sandong Town, Huicheng District and extending towards Danshui Town. It covers a total area of 60 sq km, among which 10.5 sq km is to be completed in the first period and 4.1 sq km will be initiation area. In accordance with the criteria of a modernized, internationalized, gardenized high-tech city, the municipal digital science & technology zone is designed to be a world-known green, ecological and a high-tech digital information industry town and the electronic information industry base of international competition.
